Psalm 19
King James Version (KJV)
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, OLord, my strength, and my redeemer.
Amen! Thank you JESUS for loving us and being patient with us! Help us to obey YOU and to be like YOU; kind, compassionate, longsuffering, and loving!
Where we live presently on the side of a ridge in Chattanooga Tn, the rental house has big windows facing the valley and surrounding mountains. Night after night, I get to witness GOD's amazing display of the sun setting. I cannot even put into words worthy enough to describe how beautiful this view and these sky lines look. The colors are vast and differ from night to night. This is our FATHER: He changes not, and yet His creative ability is ever changing, with all variety and splendor! And it only last moments! It must be embraced wholly and in the moment and with abandon. Why abandon? Because no photograph seems to capture the vision. I've tried to water color the image and I never do it justice. I can't even write a poem about it. It simply must be excepted and embraced with nothing added or subtracted. It Is what it Is-a declaration! of the glory and magnitude and abundance-ever developing, majesty of an almighty and loving FATHER. And we are privy to this glory day after day, when we bath in the sun, or pet a cat, or stop and think of the zillions of cells we have in our own bodies. Privy to His glory and yet He has promised to make a new heavens and a new earth! If you are excited about the one you've lived in thus far, can you imagine? Oh come quickly King JESUS!!
Peace,
Deirdre

I know what you mean, Deirdre. I feel the same way when I stop to think about God's amazing creation. It is too much to fathom! Even every little piece of sand is a precious gem!
