At first I didn't really 'get' what he was stating, but over time I think I understand something he may not have even understood himself.

And there are many innocent pastors, preachers, priests, and church members who truly love the LORD and 'know not what they are doing'. Or rather, what is happening to them.

In Catholicism ones senses are stimulated: sight-art work, candles, statues, smell-incense, hearing-music, and the appetite. It is very sensual in a 'spiritual' kind of manner. It is meant to engage the person. So it is with Protestantism especially now given it's seeker friendly churches.
I think the clarion call today is to 'stop having a relationship with this world'. As I've had time and chance to listen to James Lloyd, he repeats this reality quite often!
I grew up Catholic. Throughout life, we have these bench mark moments and celebrations and in the 'church system' it seems to give us direction and meaning and indeed we have 'relationship/fellowship' with others in the institution. However, Christ Jesus calls us to "Come out of her" and stop having relations with a world gone mad and enter into a personal relationship with HIM!

A flawed foundation liesunder most evangelicals' understanding of God's moral dealings with humanity and particularly Jews. This foundation drives their support of the Jewish state. It is called "Scofield Dispensationalism."
Written at the dawn of the modern Zionist movement, Scofield's commentaries suggested that a nation of suffering and persecuted Jews, though Christ-rejecting, had a divine right to return and occupy Palestine. This idea was virtually absent from Christianity before the mid-1800s. How did such permission gain so great a foothold that it's now unquestioned dogma for most evangelicals? ...

The right of God's dispersed and persecuted chosen people to the Promised Land is covenanted to them by God unconditionally, forever. It is the duty of every Christian to honor God's great last day's regathering of His people, bidding them godspeed by any possible means. If any nation or person refuses to stand by God and the Jewish nation, he is in league with Satan.
Israel makes possible fulfillment of biblical prophecy that empowers Jesus to return as predicted. Without Israel's existence and the hundreds of prophecies it fulfills, Christ cannot return. Christ stated clearly that "it must needs be that Scripture be fulfilled" before He could go forward with God's plan.
Criticizing the state of Israel is thus to oppose the Almighty. It is to curse the Jewish people, incurring dire judgment. "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you..." (Genesis 12:3)
SECOND COMING HINGES ON ISRAEL
In accordance with an end-times storyline created by Scofield and others, Zionist evangelicals now keenly watch Israel for necessary fulfillment of the following Scriptural predictions:
1. Rebuilding a Jewish temple. The new temple is necessary because Scripture says anti-Christ must profane it, and proclaim himself to be god. Without such a temple and its defilement, Christ cannot return as He predicted.
2. Israel enters a "covenant" or peace treaty with Anti-Christ.
Once such a covenant has taken place, Daniel's prophetic "clock" of a "week" or seven years leading to Christ's second second coming will begin to tick.
The problem, however, for pretribulationists is this: If the church is to be raptured when the anti-Christ is "revealed," what does Scripture mean by that term? Does it mean "revealed" as in anti-Christ signing a peace treaty with Israel or "revealed" such as occurs in the middle of Daniel's week when anti-Christ manifests himself as the enemy of the Jews, bringing his armies against Jerusalem (Ez. 38).
At that time, he desecrates the temple, kills two thirds of Jerusalem's inhabitants, and exiles the remainder to the nations. Also, since most evangelicals believe Christ could come in his first second coming and rapture us out without preconditons, perhaps we will not even have to wait for the "revealing" of Anti-Christ at all.
GULLIBLE GOYIM
The pretribulationist viewpoint could not be simpler: Dark as the world may become, if the church above all things makes sure to bless Israel, it will be blessed and kept safe. Jesus will be faithful to take out true believers before anything resembling great tribulation begins.

We will soon be gone. The consequences will be passed on to those of our children who are not born again, not fortunate enough to be raptured.
Of course, Scripture does promise a first resurrection or "rapture" of the dead and living of Christ at His second coming. Yet a high percentage of evangelicals actually believe the rapture will occur within several years. What's the point of knocking ourselves out opposing evil, especially as Jewish big media corrupts our children...because very soon we'll be in heaven? ...
Yet Jesus said that the church would not be taken out of tribulation. Instead, He said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation." (John 16:33)

(And ye shall know ME and I shall set you free) Jesus is not just some story or some spiritual experience. HE is the physical representation of YAHWEY. It is the Person of GOD (JESUS) that sets us free and will ultimately set us completely free, not some institution or system.

May I leave you some added info, sister susan sent me this to confirm what I had already heard some time before. The Vatican is heavily involved with Jerusalem, they are making plans for Vatican II in Jerusalem, what if THEY rebuild the temple.....let your imagination flow. A picture that falls in with prophecy, also Matthew 24:15, that abonimation is the AC.

To answer your question they can go ahead and build a temple and even put a man in there or a clone or fallen angel, makes no difference, because I don't believe that 'that' is the temple the LORD is speaking of. I believe it is a smoke/mirror to keep the real focus of the real temple which is people. People will either have the Holy Spirit in them or not. The deception is that while people are looking for An Antichrist, they will be duped-there will not be such a thing (not one man with satan indwelling in him and he ruling the world) They may lie to us and say it is true. But truth is, satan cannot be omnipresent like JESUS through the Holy Spirit can. So each person is a reflection or image of the beast. "You are of your father the devil." Not one son, but many sons of perdition.

ReplyDeleteI believe that "prophetic" sign so many are watching for only derives from a twisting of the scripture, Daniel 9:27.
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
Classicly, this scripture was understood to be speaking of Christ putting an end to sacrifice.
Through some clever wrangling, with sinister and political motives, now Christians are taught,(ala Scofield and all his proteges), that it is talking about an "antichrist" putting an end to sacrifice, and somehow it is talking about a "peace treaty with Israel"! Quite a stretch, isn't it?
But the Dispensationalist promoters of this abberation entice their listeners, saying "Only the wise shall understand!"
Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. They are everywhere!
That is why it is so important to know what these lies are so we can recognize them and not be fooled, and why Deirdre's blog today is so radically important!
Whenever you hear "Israel is God's timeclock" nonsense, watch out!
I believe the Dispensationalist/Zionist "timeline" actually lines up with the Talmudic timeline for world conquest. Again, when you look into what the are saying, the whole picture begins to take on new understanding.

DeleteNow if one thinks about Catholicism and what I meantioned earlier about the man who said, "Catholics are Jews that go all the way", the Mass truly is an abomination. "Once for all" is how JESUS was sacrificed, not over and over again. The last supper was the Passover and when Paul tells us to 'keep the feast' he's speaking of the Passover,that we should celebrate as a 'memorial' and reminder of what Christ has done and what all the feasts point us to. The Mass is very law abiding if you will. Much is required of the church goer before receiving the 'eucharist'. I think that system takes advantage of the fact that people want to be good and holy and some do understand the idea of kingdom authority, so they are willing to go along with this system. Back to the Mass; it is Jewish-like in nature. There is an altar, a sacrifice, ritual, there is a priest, there is incense. It is indeed very sensual and speaks to the senses. We want to have a personal, 'sensing' and I don't want to say sensual b/c most will interpret that as 'sexual', but intimate spiritual experience with the unknown AKA "GOD". This system of fasting praying singing, bowing, 'participating' consuming of eucharist etc...'brings' that person into what they believe is the presence of GOD. However, GOD is not found in temples built by human hands. HE is present in those cisterns that HE has hewn out with HIS hands and from out of those temples(people) will flow rivers of Living Water.
We worship GOD in Spirit and in Truth. It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. So focusing on the flesh or the earth of the land of Israel is just off...

I once watched the Catholic religious station where a certain Mother Angelica preached that the inquisition was a 'necessary evil'. "Better for the Church to have tortured those folks so they would come to JESUS, rather than allow them to burn in hell forever." Talk about 'lording it over'!!

OK 1 more step further, in 1922 Mary was declared co-reedemer with Jesus by Pope Benedict XV---dont know about you but I remember only one savior on that cross, Jesus, next to 2 other men---dont remember a woman hanging there dying for my sins. Respect and honor yes, but not prostrating yourself before her. As I have read from many others that have had encounters with angels and they bowed before them, even the angels didn't want this type of reverance.
I sometimes wish that God would give a revelation to so many to see the truth, because faith is blind and cannot be described with tangible words, especially to catholics and to atheists, or any religion for that matter.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to offer a couple explanations: The statues-some would say that they are like photographs-"reminders" of who have gone before us. That's nicely put, however when people start kissing statues or laying flowers before them, it sends strange messages to those around them. During my high school years we had a Marian celebration known as May Day. Several girls danced around a statue of Mary with ribbons. I knew then something was very wrong.
As far as declaring Mary a co-redemtrix that too is intellectualized as 'she was HIS mother' and she felt the pain of HIS dying. Ugh a half truth is not the whole truth and thus is a lie. I am sure Mary did feel a certain pain in her heart while watching JESUS die. But to enlist her as part savior is nuts. The RCC really buys into the whole kingdom government ideal. Genuflecting before the altar. Bowing to Popes, and Reverands and such. Making Mary the Queen of heaven....
