The next paragraph is from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darnel
Darnel usually grows in the same production zones as wheat and is considered a weed. The similarity between these two plants is so great that in some regions, darnel is referred to as "false wheat".[1] It bears a close resemblance to wheat until the ear appears. The spikes of L. temulentum are more slender than those of wheat. The spikelets are oriented edgeways to the rachis and have only a single glume, while those of wheat are oriented with the flat side to the rachis and have two glumes. The wheat will also appear brown when ripe, whereas the darnel is black.[2]
The darnel can be infected by an endophytic fungus of the genus Neotyphodium, and the endophyte-produced, insecticidal loline alkaloids were first isolated from this plant.[3] It parasitizes wheat fields. The French word for darnel is ivraie (from Latin ebriacus, intoxicated), which expresses that weed's characteristic of making one feel poisoned with drunkenness, and can cause death. This characteristic is also alluded to in the scientific name (Latintemulentus = drunk).
=================================
The first verse that came to my mind was "A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among
brethren." from Proverbs 6:19. Proverbs six speaks of the six things the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to HIM. (An abomination that causes desolation? One to become desolate of the Holy Spirit of GOD because 'another' is sitting on the throne of ones heart?)
The other thing that struck me was that the Darnel parasitizes the wheat fields.

To live on or in (a host) as a parasite
Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
The fruit of the Spirit is spiritual. The fruit of the Spirit is godly sorrow unto repentance.
This is a little Bible study I am doing this morning as I woke up with the words, 'even the clothing stained with sin.'
I prayed on that and wondered what it meant and why I was hearing it. I looked up the verse and it reads:
Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Some cross references found at www.biblecc.com are:
Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
A tare looks very much like wheat, but it is known by its fruit in the end or rather when it becomes mature.
Someone once told me that we are not to judge because we wont know who the wheat or tares are. Now I know why that person said that: because they are a tare and parasitizes the wheat by their false witness, pouring out lies and deceiving even the elect 'if' that were possible. But the Holy Spirit in the wheat will not be deceived. "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
1 Corinthians 6
King James Version (KJV)
6 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
We are to examine ourselves and we are to examine others. "Be wise as serpents, gentle as doves."
But sadly, I believe we are almost completely corrupt in the world right now. Within the 501C3 Beast Church system almost all are given over to the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine, the xmas/eastor celebrations and the zionist/political thrust. Many Christians think it is acceptable to GOD to participate in many things the world participates in. One must really develop an ear for the voice of the Holy Spirit so that you can discern what HIS will is for your life! (I will give a brief example below)
2 Corinthians 6
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Many years ago, after fasting and praying and caring for my mother while she was dying, I had thought about having a drink of wine with the rest of my family. As I began to pour the wine, I heard, "Just wait". I did and had a glass of ginger ale instead. Little did I know that I was pregnant at that time! The Holy Spirit knows all things.
Do you trust HIM?
So what is the answer to the poor wheat who feel smothered by the tares, who are in constant battle? Trust, obey, listen, press in through prayer. Love, because love overcomes a multitude of sins. Ask: ask for a double portion of HIS Spirit for discernment and grace! Seek HIS kingdom first. Forsake this world.
2 Peter 2:
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
Are we really that weak that we become slaves to whatever has mastered us? Yes, but the LORD said, we could do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens us. We must believe and receive power from on high to overcome.
Do you believe HIM?
well put Dee
ReplyDeleteall very important points to bring up at this time. darkness is setting in, in the fullness of this world! decieveous liars are spouting false gosip and untrue theories all over the place, nothing you here is truth.
unless it came from the WORD of the LIVING GOD, OUR LORD AND SAVOUR JESUS the CHRIST!!! AMEN
JOHN
What other tactical points can be offered by the brethren in determning who is wheat and who is tare? Certainly a show of the fruits of the Holy Spirit? What else?
ReplyDeleteAnd amen, yes GOD's Words are true. Any of us can twist the Word to mean what we want it to, how shall we pray then?
For sure, there are those who live among us, maybe with us, that are not wheat...
