Spiritual Warfare! Come on!!

When Joshua (the Bible) went up to Jericho, he did exactly as the LORD instructed him to. There are many accounts in the Scriptures where many were lead up to battle only to do something 'strange' like use pebbles and a sling shot or 'praise the LORD' while going up. Your obedience to the LORD and your voice of praise to HIM causes confusion. Remember satan is the prince and power of the air. 

The real governments of the world that we fight against are the governments/ the principalities, princes, of the air, in the heavenly realms.  "Those" above us in the spiritual realm.  The governments of the earth are only acting out what is happening in the spiritual.  Authorities, legal grounds for taking a strong hold on someones life, family, jobs ect...  The spirit of the love of Mammon; the love of death/abortion. The spirits of lust.  The spirit of confusion and disorder.   These all eventually manifest in the physical, but must be defeated in the spiritual.  Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, 

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

 I have in my lifetime learned that narcissists only go on, get bigger or do things when fed that 'energy' that it takes for them to do something. When you ignore them, their fire goes out.

satan is a 'roaring' lion. But YAHWEY says this about our enemey: Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

If you've ever battled real hard in spiritual warfare you will learn a few things. 

Start by thanking the LORD for all you have: your salvation, deliverances, strength, jobs, stuffs.  Make a verbal list.  You are going before the Throne of Grace and all the heavenly host are hearing you.  Let the enemy hear (out loud!) how thankful and for how many things you are thankful for!!

1. Repentance is key. Never ever think that you might not be guilty of something. "if we say we are without sin we deceive ourselves and the TRUTH is not in us!" 1 John 1:8 

 2. Forgiveness. You have been forgiven and you must forgive others. (I know that is loaded, but trust me, you have to forgive!) Pray for those who have hurt you. Pray they will be blessed, because GOD has blessed you! When you did not deserve to be blessed, HE still blessed you because HE loves you. (I am not saying 'tolerate' sin.  No.  We should not tolerate it.  For it destroys.  We are to put the information out there to people, tell the Truth. Pray for them.  If they do not listen/heed the LORD, then you treat them as any other unbeliever!!)  Pray their eyes will be opened, just as HE opened your eyes to some truths.

 3. Love overcomes a multitude of sins. Just as we clean up spilled milk and say, 'that's ok, don't worry about it', so should we 'cover over' the many sins and lackings of each other.

 4. Pray the Word. What do I mean? I mean open the Bible and pray the Psalms out loud, pray HIS Words out loud. Pray your enemies eyes will be opened to Truth. Pray for your loved ones that Father will open their eyes. Pray for yourself that you are not prideful or blind in any area.  Ask HIM to open your eyes to what you've been blind to.  Ask HIM to blow open all truth: truth about how you are sinning, how you have sinned, what your heart motivation truly is in any given area-you'll be shocked about what HE reveals to you!  Ask Him to wash you with the Water of the Word!

5. Lay it down.  How do we do that?  Remember back a few years ago when you were freaking out about a bill or a situation and now, in the future, all that has been resolved?  Or maybe it has not been resolved, but you are now removed from the situation?  You freaked out so hard about it and now it is gone.  Stop wasting your energy on the stuffs of now, for soon they shall all be passed away!!  Just lay it down, press on towards the goal, the prize which is our LORD!!  Don't let people or situations of this world choke out your goal!  Let it go.

Many years ago, I had gone into serious warfare about an issue. I had been deeply wounded to the core! I had 'unearthed anger' that I didn't realize was there. I had not really forgiven the person who hurt me. As I cried out to the LORD to 'spank' that person, HE gently showed me that it was me that needed the spanking. I had not forgiven that person. Folks we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities in high places!!! the prince and power of the air doesn't want you to know that you are fighting a defeated/disarmed enemy. he is slick and lying! he would have you believe it is the people around you that are hurting you and out to get you. Those people are blinded! They 'know not what they do'. Really.  And if they do not repent, their end thereof is going to be far worse than the spanking you are asking Father to give them at present!!

The LORD showed me that I needed to be concerned about my own heart and the condition it was in.  HE is more than able to 'take care of our enemies, to expose them, to even destroy them.'  

You know its very easy to 'see' sin in someone else's life?  So ask yourself, 'why is this person still struggling?'  It could be that they have opened gates/entry ways in their life, to the enemy.  He has obtained some kind of 'legal ground' to be there.  Also, if that person continues in that sin, never repenting of it, how will they overcome?  But the same is for you, the seer.  Guard your own gates.  Examine your own 'house'.  And get your own house in order!!  We will be standing before a Holy Throne of Judgement and Yahwey will care not what you know of your enemy or that person who irritates you or hurt you.  No, He will be judging you!!

Ezekiel 14:13, 14  Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.

If we want to really be effective in these last days, we've got to really understand our Father. HE loves. Get that? Love. If you really, really examine yourself, you will find all kinds of nasty stuff. That's not to say that we stay defeated and down. No, but we must realize we will not win fights with our flesh. We will win them in the Spirit.

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63

Likewise, if we keep feeding our flesh: fears, wanton desires, our sense of 'we are going to defeat the powers that be', and worse, our sense of 'entitlement', we are going to miss the Kingdom!

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." John 18:36

Not "of" this world. The Holy Spirit in us, does not operate "as" the world does! No, through the Spirit we have power from on high to bring down those spiritual strongholds that encase the flesh. We must start with the spiritual to see the results in the physical.

What was the leading factor in Joshua's problems with the spies that went into the land? They were AFRAID!! And they DOUBTED the LORDs ability to crush enemies, even after all they had been through, all that HE had provided for them.

 There battle wasn't so much against the physical giants in Canaan, but it was their fear.

That is a stronghold that needs to come down!

So our fight right now is not about gun control. It is not about taxes or Mammon. It is about understanding that there are principalities above us that manipulate people and masses of people at that!!

"Matthew 7:13,14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, 

that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in

 thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,

 which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

How many babies come through a birth canal per pregnancy? Not many, maybe one or two for every birth.  And that canal is extremely narrow!  So narrow that the babies head is squeezed!  His stomach is squeezed so much that he will puke up all the amniotic fluid out of his lungs!  Almost towards the end of the birthing process there is something called the Ring of Fire!!  This is when the cervix has been stretched to its utmost limit!!  During a home birth I  was a part of, the midwife used a lot of olive oil on the mother giving birth.  She also put counter pressure on the mothers perineum, making the birth more bearable.

The process of entering into the Kingdom of GOD is PRESSURE!!!  And few can take it!  If it pleased the Father to crush His own Son, do you think you too will not be crushed?

The LORD, through HIS Holy Spirit and HIS holy angels watch over us and keep account of everything we do! The enemy would like to be just like Yahwey. But he cannot. So he will use technology to accomplish this.

Technology is like a light to a moth: it tempts, then destroys! We have got to get covered! Putting on the full armor!! I realize this is really hard when we live in divided homes. Go away some where and strengthen yourself in the Word and in the Spirit!

Be strategic:  Mix your routine up at bit.  Don't be so habitual/predictable.  Be hidden in plain site, always under the covering of the Holy Spirit.  Pray without ceasing: the days are short and evil!

Obey quickly!  I say this as one who has not always obeyed quickly and I have suffered yucky consequences for not obeying quickly.

Listen real carefully.

Do not entertain anything that is against the LORD.  Do not lie to yourself and say there is some justification for what you are about to think about, speak about, and act out on!  The enemy is ready to devour us when we are so foolish!

Slow down!  The LORD is the author of time.  All time is in His hands and He will give you the time you need to do what needs to be done!  Take time before you answer, before you decide, before you agree.  Listen carefully.

Lay all desires on the throne, because if you don't the enemy will use those against you, no matter how legit they seem.  This is where we pray, the LORD's will be done, not ours.

Encourage yourself in the Word.  Encourage each other!  Give a holy hug!  It's rough going in this world amen?  Speak blessings upon the brethren.  Give to each other freely!

Quiet your soul.  Listen to the Spirit.
